We love Emerald Coast nature, and dunes are definitely on the list! Did you know that the dunes are a naturally-occurring accumulation of wind-blown sand? Over time, these dunes become home to various plants, including sea oats, sand spurs, and beach morning glory, among others. I always try to use dunes as a backdrop for pictures, when possible! It creates variety :)
When we entered the beach that evening, we were hypnotized by the beauty of that sunset sky! Pink, orange, red - colors so vibrant they seem unreal. Sunset sky changes rapidly, so we usually have just a few minutes to capture its beauty.
Baby number 2 is on its way, so of course we did a few shots of the gorgeous mama and a cute picture of (soon-to-be) big sister and her future best friend (who’s chilling in mama’s belly for now heheh)
And even when the sun had set, the sky still was amazing. At the end of the photoshoot, we saw dramatic blue clouds covering the sky.
